So are people who get to 100 wins getting the icon, or only the people who had 100 wins prior to the announcement? I had 95 wins so this would be disappointing to not get. I really like dominion and I want to show appreciation by using the icon for it.
They took a snapshot of everyone's records the day they made the announcement. You needed 100 at that time.
While this sucks, it was probably to keep a bunch of posers just spamming the mode for the exclusive icon when they didn't really care about it. They wanted it to actually mean something.

Aww dang! Well, might as well play the mode before it's gone then. Unlike a lot of people, I actually enjoy it.
