As an IT guy who deals with servers, the absolute last thing I need while trying to get back to operation is a bunch of people asking me when I'm going to be done.

Computers are science, even exact science if you want to go that way, but this does not in any way mean that those who work on them are able to give you exact estimates when you ask. When it comes to things like this, millions of people and dollars on the line waiting for you to get their machines working again, the more time we have to stop and give you an update is less time we have to solve the problem.

And, believe it or not, when we turn our head to tell you "I don't know man, maybe another hour?" we may have missed the key to solving the problem.

Not saying it's not okay to ask, but this type of reaction, in the face of emergency server maintenance, towards someone who doesn't even work on the problem is ridiculous.

Your posts constitute harassment. Normally that would get removed with warnings to your account. Frankly, we've got too much to deal with today due to the server issues so I wasn't removing them.

Mate I don't mean to burst your bubble but, I do believe this isn't your area of expertise. It's quite unintelligible to you. The Curator was right to emphasize his point as the player clearly was not understanding any word typed in the previous statements. I have a family member who is an HR manager that has proved The Curator's words were in fact allowable and deemed respectful. The way it was typed did not in any way seek to offend nor indirectly state the player's mental state was failing to comprehend the previously stated facts. You could spend all day attempting to find a reason The Curator has offended someone but, truth is, you're simply fighting an uphill battle without the proper tools. Oh and by the way, the last sentence is what you would call, "unnecessary" as I am "emphasizing" your replies are due to a "personal failing." Hope you don't mind that i went the "extra mile" to state a couple facts for ya mate.

His/Her Job is moderation, he/she is a mod not a red, he/she is not HR his/her job is to moderate the forums and that's what he/shes doing.

I get ppl are mad they cant play but its no reason to crucify the Board staff. [zombie-brand-clap]

Nobody cruxified him. He can do his job without being rude about it. He is a representative of Riot and needs to act as such.

Servers are have been hacked by a hacker collective. They have used a DDOS attack. They took down NA and I think Oceanic now. They are working on EU. Rito deleting this info as I post.

It could have been stated "It would be helpful if players did their best to post in the correct section."

I am not joking. If players are subject to bans then that standard MUST be upheld across all platforms or the integrity of Riot is compromised.

Asking for respect and courtesy when it is demanded in game or you are banned is no unreasonable.
