Are these sites scams?

There seems to be a bunch of these sites like Uproar and Battle of Glory seem to be popping up in youtuber ads and stuff. And basically they say you just play games like Smite or LoL and either from just playing the game or completing certain quests you earn points which you can earn things like Gems or RP. It seems sketchy since I don't know how they are making money off this but at the same time I have you tubers that I would say I trust that promote it. Does anyone have any experience with these sites or any advice as to which are real and which are scams/fake?
