Hextech Champ Shards question

SwolePtrl··1 votes·379 views

So ive wondered if I own 5 champ shards the day before Kled is released but don't open them. Can I get Kled from those shards after or is the champ that shard has already assigned to the shard as soon as you buy it? Just something I couldn't find the answer to and was curious.
