Get the icon then use your normal emote.

You mean Ctrl+6? But what if I'm using a Mastery 5 champion & use the same emote button, the team icon appears instead of the Mastery 5?

it replaces it as long as you're using the icon on your summoner profile. Using a different icon or after worlds ends will bring back the regular mastery emote.

I always thought it was CTRL + 7 Could be wrong but cant you edit hotkeys in options? just look under there for the extra emotes
