Did riot just made spiderman homecoming reference with the new champ

I know spiderman homecoming isn't coming until 2018, but can't see any other way for riot get this title for taliyah but that, don't get me wrong know they are very creative but I will love to know if tayliah homecoming name was inspired by spiderman homecoming, if so I like to know if riot employees are morely marvel fans than dc.
