@Riot Message Glow changed from yellow to blue

I noticed the color that the chat box blinks when a friend sends you a message was changed from yellow to blue. I feel it's a lot less noticeable now and it takes me longer to realize someone messaged me while I was away since the window is blue and the glow is also blue now, whereas before the blue box and yellow glow contrasted better so it was easier for me to notice a flashing box at the bottom of my screen. I was wondering if there was any particular logical reasoning behind this change that I'm not catching.
