Did I miss something lately? (Kalista?)

Lately I have been seeing waaaaay more Kalistas than normal in ranked and I mean pike 8 out of 10 games for example. Did something happen in the lcs again? And well not to be rude but most if not every single one of them fall off mid game then go into a hyper blame everyone rage. Yes every single one of then x_x it is almost kinda worrying.
