Repost from GD to increase visability:

Thank you and the other Reds for talking to us at all. Many of us may disagree with what you're saying and/or how you're saying them but I think we can all be glad that they're coming out and saying something. The wall of silence Lore has had for so long was terrible. I hope we can come together and have a constructive, civil discussion about our grievances/where things are going. Who knows, we might even like where it goes. =D

Oh wait, this is the internet. Civil? lol nope :P

So yeah, keep tanking the forum hate, please. Here, have some Miracle Of Sound to keep those chins up.

As one of the "haters," let me make something clear: What Opeli has done (by herself mind you) was a start. The entire narrative team has a long way to go, though.

The Lore team created the situation that exists there with two years of ignoring fans in the subforum. It's not just "the internet."

Maybe, when they prove that they're serious about communication, about having a back and forth dialogue instead of an occasional lecture, and that they're actually producing lore that is better than what we've been getting, we can have that civil discussion.

But, frankly, they have to do the work.

I would have prefered another 10years of silence to this reveal of a horrible massaker of the current lore... and not communicating ever since, not reacting to a ton of good and constructive ideas on how to keep the lore as it is with minor fixes just is even worse than being silent forever.

There have been dozens of well thought out, constructive threads about lote on these boards all week and this is the one that gets a red post, typical. If you guys are really gonna still claim to be "community focused" how about you at least pay lip service to peoples concerns instead of just popping in to pat yourselves on the back?
