Everyone is so hyped up about her Op clear times, ganks & stuff. Now, a lot of matches I played in doesn't involves a lot of jungle Nids anymore. Does her W nerf really that serious or something? Or do you people actually have to wait til LCS/LPK uses her as usual? -_-
Try and play Nid against any of the current meta junglers..
These will all not only outgank Nid, but also beat her 1v1 and be monumentally more useful in teamfights.

As of right now, Nid isn't a safe pick unless you have at least 2 tanks on team.
With Cinderhulk being the FOTM item, tanks are just stomping over squishies. Nid is a good pick when there is a very tanky support with lots of peels (Braum, Leo, etc) and a tanky top lane who can engage well (Maokai, Sion, Hec etc). The role of Nid is more of an assassin than anything else.
However, in general SoloQ, top laners would like not to be JUST a tank. People play a lot of Riven, Jax, Vlad, etc who deal a lot of damage but doesn't necessarily can soak up damage nor initiate. Hence the initiation of a fight would fall on the shoulder of the jungler, which Nid certainly can, but unless she is extremely fed and kills everyone in one shot, she will most likely die very fast.
