Playing maokai when I notice
that his saplings don't have timers so I was thinking it we would be nice if riot wold put a bar similar to wards showing how long they have left.

Nothing like literally putting an expiration date over your kids heads.

(Q) [Walking away. Visually cool] --- Or a circle slowly decreasing? Variety with clarity is always cool, when they make timers like this.
(W) [Letting it detonate on it's own] --- Maybe even a visual effect, giving an indication as to exactly when it is about to explode.
