IIRC, Gragas is considered a trash-pick in LCS due to his ult cast duration being nerfed

fucktarded base dmg's that were the proble m in the first place. BUT NOO lets not remove the problem instead lets fuck his kit up.

No, his damage was never a problem. Gragas was pick/ban because of his no counterplay combo (E+flash and point blank instant ult) to pick easy kill on a carry for his team. If teams wanted high base damage early game then they would just take Lee Sin as he does this better than Grag. Right now he remains in healthy state in solo Q as he has fine pick rate (10%) with good win rate (49%) and competitive where he doesn't dominate every single game and hasn't got problematic win ratio. His kit is OK now.
