Quick question/thought about ADC reworks
Can we make the new items mostly guns/bows/ranged weapons? I find it odd to see champions like 
who all wield guns of some sort purchase swords for more damage
Just an odd thought I had

Pretty sure that strapping swords to guns is the top way to do damage.
In all seriousness, I don't think this is planned for a change. Some Rioter said that it's a core part of their item builds.
I mean, if 
can be an AD(C?) item, so can swords.
