Is Tristana the Shaco of ADCs, or do people just use her wrong?

By saying Trist is the Shaco of ADCs, what I mean is that she is extremely dominant early in the game, putting out immense damage with high kill potential. However, she falls off come late game and becomes harder to play.

It seems to me that whenever I play with or against a Trist, she annihilates her lane and takes tower like 6 minutes into the game. However, after that she loses her ability to flat out murder people, leaving only her ability to shred towers. Is this just me, or is that how Tristana is now, cause it seems pretty odd to have an ADC who basically has a clock to win the game.

...you're talking about Tristana? That ADC who scales insanely hard and melts objectives faster than anyone except maybe Jinx (and definitely more safely than Jinx) late-game?

Going for that kill potential early is incredibly risky. She typically has to use her W to dive and if she doesn't get the kill she's probably dead.

Huge scaling range, 2 forms of self peel, and a massive AS steroid.

I don't know how you don't think she scales.

Not only would I say that is untrue for Tristana (seriously she rarely wins lane), I'd say the exact opposite is true for Shaco as well. He seems very item dependent.

So I guess it just is every Tristana I have run across recently is just doing it horribly wrong. And they apparently have massive dinosaur balls.

Which team played her in LCS, cause that is the only explanation I can think of for why I'm seeing her so often.

She's the exact opposite. Trist is weak until the BF sword spike, then she's decent at best. At that point it's up to match ups and how good her support is. Trist winning the lane is usually due to the support having good initiation or the enemy ADC no winning trades. Late game is actually where she shines. Tristana destroys late game since she's a hypercarry like Jinx, Kog'maw, and Vayne. The trist you're seeing robably aren't very good with her or are building her wrong if they do well early but suffer late. I think it's most likely a case of the support carrying the Tristana through the laning phase but the Tristana player is bad at not getting caught out or performing well in team fights.
