First off all, the champions you're referring to are bruisers anyway, not even tanks. So I'm not sure how you would think it's a tank meta regardless.
The current meta is "There are a higher than usual number of rediculously strong champs in a number of classes".

No the current meta is having these high health super tanks in top and jungle like Nautilus, Maokai, Gragas, Rammus. Those are tanks.
