whos better top lane, irelia or gnar.
was thinking of getting 1 of them. you guys have a few hours to tell me before i choose.

Those two champions have such different playstyles that I'm not sure it's possible to compare them...
If you want high kill potential, good dueling, and a large damage soak go Irelia. If you want medium kill potential, enough mobility to be relatively uncatchable, and a team sized wombo CC go Gnar.
i don't know much about either but i heard gnar to un-predictable for competitive play but he looks like a alot of fun to use. irelia on the other hand is a great duelist and a fairly tanky champion, choosing between the 2 i would say gnar, irelia can only work well with a certain team comp or something like that where as gnar has so much cc and he fits well into any team
Gnar is way better in competitive play and Irelia is probably better in solo queue
I'd pick gnar. simply because the amount he brings to a team fight is much larger than irelia. Ya irelia can out duel a gnar... but team fights usually make or break the game.
