When can we fix matchmaking?
I mean I just got to the enemy's inhibitor tower in 18 minutes... but my adc afk'd... jungle never came out of jungle... mid fed 6 kills by the 17 minute mark...
What do? I mean my support tried...

How do you want that fixed, only way to get less is to rank up. Even then there is still a crap ton of Afk, ragers, feeders, etc.. Your elo is gold 5, which has a large portion of the community still. Plat 5 has like 800k players so your chance to get players like this are still high. Only when you get to upper diamond/master can you get constant good games becuase there are less people and most of them actually care about their elo.
