Does anyone play League with Dish Network's 40mbs package?

I know dish generally sucks and I've always been used to 100+ mbs cable, but I'm about to move out into the woods where there is no cable. Only dish. Do you get good latency most of the time?

Btw before you feel sorry for me moving out into the woods... we are building an awesome cabin out there to live in and a giant shop to house our quads. Can't wait to move!

You can't get good latency on a satellite connection. If Wikipedia is to be trusted, you'll have about 600 ping, for any game.

Take it from someone who has worked for many gaming companies: Do not game on a Satellite. Ever. And if you do, don't expect support from the game company, or the dish company. Many satellite companies even say in their TOS that you can't do online gaming on the connection (see: Wildblue, ViaSat). When you're beaming a signal to space, to earth, back to space, and back to earth for every input, your latency will be out of this world. (Yay puns)
