What's wrong with giving champions counterplay?

Let's say your favourite champion is Ryze, since he has no counterplay (assuming only).

When you use Ryze

You: Lel, enemy so weak. Hahahah can't touch me, take my W trolololol.

When enemy use Ryze

You: Omg, wtf is Riot doing? Balance team sucks, report for Ryze nerfs pls omg

^ I would be seeing a lot of this if it weren't for counterplays.
