Is it me, or does the average game take about 5-6 re-queues to actually start? (5-30 minutes)

about 4-5 games of people declining/not clicking accept in time and 2-3 games of getting through the banning/picking phase only to have someone dodge within the last few seconds.

over, and over.

Normal Draft has just been getting slower and slower all year. I just now bailed on queue after 6 collapsed lobbies spread across almost half an hour of waiting (26 minutes). The queue experience has become so god damned awful that I'm usually somewhere between depressed and exhausted by the time I actually get into a game. AND... even when you do get a game, there's a strong chance an afk vote will send you back to the lobby yet again. When I started playing in early 2015, it was super rare to even spend two minutes in queue. Now I have long since lost track of how many times it's taken 30+ minutes to find a game. I keep begging Riot to help us, and they just keep making it worse. Apparently we need one of these threads to reach 9000 upvotes before Riot will care and do anything to fix it.

League of Lobbies. Boring, trolly, lobby based game play that sometimes, occasionally (if all the planets align during an eclipse), ends in a fun video game.

Yay, autofill.

thank riot who can't ditch their favorite child flex queue and so they keep auto fill and it makes people dodge a lot

Last days espacially due two factors: First Elementalist Lux is released and some people dodge if someone already picked Lux or if she is banned. Second Autofill seems to be pretty weird lately and everybody seems to get the support role, so some dodge

Yup. Auto-fill has done the exact opposite if it's intent.

Might be fixed if dodging had a higher initial penalty.

Exactly. Happens a lot on ARAM because people want poke comp or specific champs and don't want to reroll or are out of them.

I've also heard of several people having problems with the client just hanging up right after accepting or getting into champ select. First there were like 6 people not accepting, then 2 people dodge, 3 don't accept and then I just randomly hang up after getting into champ select and after that my client hung up after I accepted...no idea what's going on.

You can thank autofill. It literally only benefits the people that want to play support secondary role while making for a shittier experience for everybody else.

I generally only have to wait through one not real game, maybe I'm just lucky with my teamates?

I would say it averages 2 dodges in pick-ban per game played for me. (Queue-dodge-rejoin-dodge-rejoin-play)

Sometimes more, sometimes none, but I feel like it averages to 2 per game, which is extremely annoying when it is one of the last players to lock in.

I play mostly blinds, and I'd say around 2-3.
