FUN champions?
I don't mean fun as in they do lots of damage, I mean fun like they are mechanically challenging or fun to play as or smooth (also, maybe scales well late game)
Like Fizz, Nidalee, maybe riven (i don't play her), Kalista

I just played Orianna for the first time in Aram. I don't know how to play her well but with decent mechanics she's a great team player and does lots of damage.

Gnar is really fun. Working around his transforms and w procs in mini form add a lot of interesting gameplay. The minigame of catching your boomerang also exists :P.
Urgot! He's always been complained about ever since his release, but once you get his play style down he's one hell of a lane bully. He's just slow, but his kit basically forces people to either kite him, outrun him, or die because they can't beat him in a fight (Passive OP). He sits in a weird spot between marksman and bruiser.
Urgot, New Sion, New Soraka, Sejuani, Zac.
Teemo: You get to piss off the enemy team massively, which is always fun.
Mundo: Cleavers be satisfying.
Irelia: Using your Q to dash from target to target, taking them down, is so fun.
Lissandra, Leona, Sejuani
Believe it or not, Lee sin actually takes quite a bit of skill to master.
