Reported for Not Dying in ARAM

Didn't know that was a thing. Went 7/0/7 as WW and my team reported me. I had the most kills and second most CS. Team didn't say anything at all the entire match until the very last few seconds and said I was useless and that it was basically 4v5. Pretty sure they were just looking for a scapegoat because we lost.

The match.

What's alarming about this thread is the lack of ARAM knowledge. That's fine in general - not if you're going to comment.

In the last ARAM I played I got Panth. My record was:

13 Kills 7 Deaths 18 Assists

As a tank, you're supposed to die. And in dying, it not only allowed me to tank better, but I got almost 2.5 times as many kills as your WW did. You can't look at stats in a vacuum - ARAM doesn't reward staying alive.

What 7/0/7 says to me is that you hung in the back and and played for the zero deaths. You were likely not an asset to your team, and that's probably why you lost.

I will say this though - the amount of times I tell people in ranked that this isn't ARAM, it's nice to see someone in ARAM play like it's ranked. #upside

Everyone is skipping the most important part. You loss your team the game. Sure you had a 14.0kda but could of helped so much more if you bought items. 0 deaths= 0 items. You should always die to tower in Aram

I can kinda see what you mean, but at some point, you aren't doing any damage. Like my last ranked game as Amumu where I waited for a really long time to buy anything because I had no reason to back. You do need items to do damage. Although your team took it a bit too far.

So here's my thoughts:

You probably shouldn't have been reported, but it doesn't really matter unless you were doing other things that are reportable.

You shorted your team by ~7.5k gold. This, as much as anything else, led to your loss. Especially with Warwick, who doesn't really scale spectacularly with levels.

Well yeah, it's ARAM. No one cares that you didn't die. We're not impressed. You hamstrung your team. 14 kills is abysmal.

Actually they are right. Maybe not a reportable offense but their rationale is 100% spot on.

By not dying you essentially gimped yourself, and consequently your team, the entire game. Your 7 kills, 7 assists and CS mean squat when you don't get to spend the gold.

You played the entirety of the match with your starter items, meaning you had crap CDs, no damage, no HP and no AP.

Those 7 K/A would have been better off on a character that DID die and got to spend that gold to have a better lategame. You essentially denied your team 7 kills, assists and CS

It is actually viable to kill yourself once in a while, preferably against their worst teammate or just simple turret assisted suicide.

I would guess that if he watched his teammates die 31 times and with snowball and flash and the most kills managed to not die once, he was likely hiding behind his team looking to steal easy kills like his kda means anything. No way you get involved with that kind of team fighting and can't die. It's team fight based game mode, way more than SR is. How do you not die defending a turret once when they have already made it to your nexus? Glad your team reported your trolling. Hate aram trolls. its why we play aram instead of SR.

Yeah, you shouldn't have been reported for that IMO but it would have been better if you did shop.
