so i see an image on the league of legends website saying "upgrade to the new alpha client now" i did it and it removed half of my old clients features while managing to be more laggy .

Hoho you're so funny. Click the "Launch Legacy Client" underneath the login area to switch back. The new client is still in beta so of course it's unfinished. You don't have to participate if you don't want to.
