Yasuo Needs A Rework.

hello everyone i know this thread may infuriate a lot of you since i know a lot of people main this champion but i made this thread because i believe some of yasuos abilities are unhealthy for a midlane champion in the early game.Firstly i would like to addres the issue with his windwall, practically with that skill yasuo counters 90% of midlaners in the game resulting in a bad experience when ever the enemy midlaner is picking after you, since yasuo could be a scary counterpick for a LOT of midlaners.but lets return to the windwall well as a skill in the early game i believe that the fact that he can practicaly disable the enemy mid and even deny him a couple of cs is overpowered.

  1. i believe that yasuo would be better off with a stronger shield but a windwall that on the first 1 and 2 levels can only block 1 skillshot, that would make him stronger against counterpicks like annie or malzahar but weaker against champions like lux and syndra who struggle against him.
  2. practicaly yasuo as an assasin should be able to deal a lot of damage therefore a buff to his q would be needed if his w is to be nerfed. 3 .regarding his e,i read some threads that yasuo would be better off with his e dealing no damage,i disagree with that i believe a more intresting mechanic would be popping his shield on the 3rd consecutive dash thus taking away some of his defense when yasuo thinks he is a ballerina and starts dancing through the creeps. all in all remember that this thread is NOT an attack to yasuo mains and none of these changes are confirmed to be implemented those are just suggestions, please be nice to everyone and back up your arguments with words not downvotes.Yasuo

Personally, I've started playing Rammus mid whenever I know I'm up against a Yasuo. It's been overwhelmingly successful so far, as it punishes Yasuo for simply existing.

i understand your thinking and this truly may work for you at the early game but rammus is an "escapeless champion" and when picked in the midlane he might struggle from enemy ganks ,Furthermore by picking rammus mid you might be creating a "melee team" with only the adc being a ranged champion thus a team susceptible to poke,so rammus isnt a pick you can use in every single game but rather a situational pick.

He needs to be deleted, no rework.

a lot of people from other forums(eune, euw) asked me why i made this thread, why i believe yasuo needs a rework.well the obivous answer would be just looking at his statistics as a champion,a champion that has been going on with a stable 5-20% ban ratio since the day he was released is a problematic champion

i believe that its sad that 2 minutes after i created this thread it has gotten so many downvotes,it appears that some yasuo mains are overprotective over their champion and just downvote every thread suggesting a healthy change in him, without reading the entire thread.

I'm a kayle main, and I personally think you just don't know design well. His windwall is fine, and I say that because if you don't play around it then that's your fault. His dash is annoying but it's fine for the most part. The big problem with Yasuo right now is how he auto wins the laning phase because he built Phantom Dancer.

Phantom Dancer makes him impossible to kite with 12% MS, and impossible to duel him thanks to it's 12% damage reduction. On top of that it's the cheapest zeal item and gives the most AS out of all zeal items.

yasuo is grouped in with the assassins, but hes intended to be a melee adc.

means hes geared to deal sustained damage and not bust. there is a fat chance theyre going to rework him, because hes generally viewed as one of leagues best designed champions.

yasuo was never intended to be a melee adc,the fact that he is viewd as a melee adc by some pros doesnt mean he was intended for that role.yasuo is a midlane, the changes on the trinity force were intended for toplane yasuos and gps as both a nerf and a way to make them stay in the midlane and get AD builds and not tanky builds.

lol he was always supposed to be a melee ad carry. his playstile doesnt revolve around burst but sustained dps.

as opposed to aatrox who was intended to be built as a bruiser, but people immediately tried to build him for a squishy melee adc build on release. it didnt stick because it wasnt very successful due to his health scalings.

why did you think yasuo scales with crit and attack speed so hard?

back in my days adc meant marksman, you youngsters and your weird words.

back in my days, which was before season 1, adc meant either melee or ranged adc.

i think there is some confusion here.

adc means "attack damage carry" and doesnt have shit to do in which position hes played. it usually refers to champions dealing high sustained damage.

juggernauts are technically melee carries aswell. built for large amounts of sustained damage in melee.

hes intended as a squishy damage dealer, yes. but sustained damage like ranged adc as opposed to the bursty assassins.

o.. your afraid of MIDLANE yasuo not top lane yasuo? - 1

BlâckLotus5 votes

toplane yasuo has an entire skill that is almost useless versus half the top laners, his w therefore, yes i am not afraid of toplane yasuo

Well honestly yasuo has many horrible match ups at mid... On paper he's broken, in game he's not that good. Just like Aatrox's passive... Wait a second... Who's aatrox? Is he the yorick rework???

Bit funny how you make a thread about Yasuo when you main Irelia. If any champ deserves a rework it's Irelia, but since you main her you won't say that.

Can I just ask one thing or no wait just say one thing.

How in the bloody f*ing hell does a post like this get upvotes, everytime I post something even remotely simillar to this it gets downed like titanics hitting icebergs. And I even use proper grammar and spelling, okay maybe English is not my native language but at least I use god damn alineas.. I call shenanigans and say this post is boosted.

Top lane yasuo needs a tweak, otherwise I think hes fine.

lol yasuo is way too safe. He has extreme mobility, a shield, a wall that acts like a shield, insane damage and... is fucking manaless.

Too many people love yasuo for him to ever receive a rework of any kind. His player base is huge. You think riot is going to change that?

Seenan1 votes

You mean a buff to his damage inexchange for some of his free LW so he can actually equalize his top-lane counterpart in midlane.

You are 100% right, has 7 abilities?!?!?! ,q, w, e ,r, q-e, 3x q, 3xq-e

in my opinion, Yasuo needs a big nerf or rework
