Every time I open the client, my computer completely freezes

I have Windows 8 up to date. Does anybody else have this problem or is it just me?

I have the same problem- Whenever i login to lol.client, after a while my whole computer freezes and i have to force restart my computer. I am having this problem from the recent patch. I have a windows laptop. Processor- intel core i5- 2.5 GHz RAM- 6GB System type: 64 bit OS Windows 8.1 Graphics- INTEL(R) HD graphics 4600 & AMD Radeon HD 8750M A Please give an earliest response Amumu

Immediately click the Play button after it appears. Then wait a few minutes. It should work then.
