Why is League becoming more like COD?

I never really payed much attention to the concept of champion mastery, although i knew exactly what would become of this wretched idea.

Never ever have I cared about what level means in any game. If you are better than someone, whether you are level 1 or 100, you are simply better. Im so sick of hearing this bullshit about " I cant believe your at champion mastery X with X champion! You must be a noob! " Sorry to break it to the community, but once again, your level AND champion mastery has NOTHING to do with how good you are. It is generally a reflection ( maybe besides your ELO, though really there are exceptions ) of how long you have played the game. You could have gotten to X champion mastery by going 0/20 every game, it really doesn't make a difference.
