I would just like to know if anyone was put in a semi reasonable place based on provisionals. Personally I was placed in bronze 2 after winning 7/10 games with either just reasonable stats or I contributed immensely to winning as shown by stats. And both a combination of not having time to play and getting frustrated with the players at that level has left my in bronze 3. And I am definitely not a bronze level player.
I was in Gold V last season, and if I remember correctly, I went 5-5 in my provisionals and placed in Silver II.
Ranked is easy to climb until you get where you should be....I was Bronze 4 at the start of season 3 and was mad because I thought it was my team holding me back. Then I took at step back and looked at my own play and easily climbed into Gold 1 in two months. It is easy to climb if you focus on your own play and don't blame team mate. If you are stuck after a large amount of matches, that generally means you found your skill level.
Places s1 and 2 friends placed g5, all of us were g5 last year.
I was gold IV last season. I was fearing that I would be placed on a lower rank such as Silver, on other hand, I've heard of people that actually managed to get into an higher rank.
In the end, I just managed to be placed on the exact same rank and division.
i went 9/10 was silver 5 or bronze 1 last season and got placed in bronze 5 :/. my friend who had about 150 wins got placed in silver 5 after going 2/10
I got placed in Silver IV. Feels about right- now in Silver III.
My main went something like 6-4 (plat last season) placed Gold 5.
My smurf with 0 ranked games ever went 10-0 and placed Plat 2...
Gold 2 peak last season, ended at Gold 4, now climbing from Silver 2. Fairly fine, though the climb itself sucks.
I was Silver 1 in Season 3 and got straight into Gold 5 last year after winning most of my placements. I've only just started placements for this year (not a fan of ranked personally so I avoid it usually) both games went 8/1 so far but sadly in the second game our Vlad rage quit so we lost anyway. Still 8/1 is a great way to end a 4v5 so hopefully the system takes that into account.
Honestly I want to play SR and ranked but I feel id just cause the team to lose. Im a good player in ARAM but that's ARAM. Any suggestions on what to do or where to start?

Just checking out some of your games I can see that your CS is extremely low and you die a lot, if you work on those things you will be able to climb easily.
I got placed in gold 5 after losing 8/10 games from plat 3 so it was pretty accurate but it was easy to climb because I was above a gold player.
No. I sucked when I started and got placed in Silver 5. I was probably like Bronze IV material at the time. Just above completely and utterly shit but not good at all.
