How much control does Tencent have over Riot Games? I mean, a Rioter mentioned something about Tencent breathing down their necks with the splash unification thing so i'm wondering if they can just go and tell Riot what to do in their own interests regardless of whether they want do do so or not?

Billy VoHagen1 votesYou don't understand. Tencent payed millions, maybe billions, to completely own Riot. If riot wants it back, they need to buy it from tencent. Tencent completely owns Riot, they could theoretically do anything with the company.

Spicy Rice1 votesSince they own riot games, they have 100% control when they want. Generally though, they won't use their power unless there is some reason that the value of Riot Games would fall dramatically, as Tenecent has an obligation to their stockholders.
