FIOS Problems:Turn off Ranked, issue loss forgiven and extend the season
I and many others have been playing our asses off to try to get through tier promos before the season ends. I personally have been playing all day, and I have gotten into my promos. Then this FIOS thing hit, and I lost the first game to to it becoming unplayable. Characters moonwalking, disappearing and reappearing elsewhere, abilities not responding, phantom objects, etc.
So I am sitting here LITERALLY within 3 games of my goal, with 3 days to get there, and I CANNOT PLAY. Riot, you have acknowledged that there is a major issue affecting a number of users. We are on a time limit, and we have been locked out due to you issuing some very minor, but apparently very damaging patch.
There are 3 things you should be doing:

Give a lot of loss forgiven. Now you can do that post wise, so it's not an issue with not having it on. You know when you pushed this patch.

TURN OFF RANKED. This issue is effecting not just the people who are having the issue, but anyone in the game with them. I'm sure there are a ton of people cursing your servers or matchmaking right now as they get players feeding and DCing and then having to listen to them in chat talking about how everything is messed up. If there is a known issue, TURN OFF RANKED TILL YOU FIX IT.

Delay the season end. It's the only fair thing to do. There are a ton of people who cannot play or will lose if they do. There are a ton of people who are losing right now due to the ranked queues still bring up and getting people with this problem. Ending the season on Monday with this going on taints the entire process, like holding a world series with half the players on one team hopped up on drugs. You broke the system, so fess up and give us time after you fix it to make up for the mess that is being caused.
