@Riot, I love the rune's changes, but you missed a big part.

I LOVE the rune changes(except for the life steal part). However, I can't help notice that you missed a big part with it. What is the big part you may ask -- the big part is the price of the runes. Now that the Runes are being made more diverse, we'll need to get more and test it out, however the price of the Runes is going to make that hard for a lot of people. The only people who won't have this problem are the ones with like 30k of ip. Which I don't think everyone has.

What I suggest:

Make marks, seals, and glyphs cost: 175 IP each, making it where one sector will cost 1575 IP.

Make Quints cost: 525 each, making it where 3 quints will cost 1575 IP.

In total, a full rune page will cost 6300 IP, as much as a Champ and a new one.

In response to compensate people for the massive change, you can hand out 5-10 IP boosts so people can earn IP back or get a boost to getting the new runes, or maybe just a champ, or nothing!

ALSO, with this change, you would be getting rid of tiers for runes and only have the tier 3 runes, but they won't be called tier 3 - just runes.

Thoughts on this topic? Do the runes seem to cheap? Maybe they could be a higher price, but I personally think 175 per mark/seal/glyph and 525 per quint is a good pricing and convenient for the players.

To be honest, most runes aren't that good, so experimentation isn't that useful.

T1 and T2 runes aren't "bad", they just go no where currently, and therefore punish players who buy them. While T1 isn't a huge mistake because they are fairly inexpensive, T2 are reasonably costly, and yet, are a huge trap for players. Particularly since they cannot buy anything better so they may feel that's their only option. Only to find out that they have basically wasted all the IP they spent on T2 runes.

If you could upgrade T1 and T2 runes, then that solves the problem of T3 runes being expensive (imo) since at least you could be getting either T1 or T2 benefits while saving up for your t3 runes.

Otherwise T3 rune cost are fine. It's something to spend your IP on other than champions.

That's why they are having the sale, so people can try out all the rune changes.

Also, there are a lot of people who have what they need and have no use for IP anymore, other than to buy the next released champion. IP boost in this case isn't that effective.
