Scripters running rampant

I write this post in hopes that Riot is still cracking down on this issue as they have before, like when riot would post in the boards a list of accounts that have been banned for such actions. At the very least, the list served to give us a small peace of mind that action was being taken.

Do you believe that scripting is a common occurrence in league? I do. One may not agree with me, but I can bring up a few points that may convince anyone otherwise. 1 being that we see it happen in many pro players streams. If there are scripters all the way up in high elo, then one must wonder how long their scripter account has been running rampant unpenalized. 2 Have we not all endured a game in which we're put up against a player that is named something along the lines of "player 203344" that managed to hit every skill shot so miraculously? Do those two elements of landing damn near every skill shot and having such a name not raise questions? I'd dare say that it is likely that person is and/or scripting/elo boosting.

RIOT please save us. A little reassurance, such as mentioned above could go a long way. I don't want my favorite game plagued by this problem.

Riot won 10 million in a lawsuit against the biggest scripting provider recently - http://www.pcgamer.com/riot-awarded-10-million-in-in-leaguesharp-lawsuit-settlement/

when blizzard did this a few years back in SC - https://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2014/05/29/blizzard-sues-starcraft-ii-hackers/#134d77346954 - it completely killed hacking because all the providers became afraid they would be next. Scripting will never be as bad as it was in like season 4/5, Riot takes it seriously now

I can honestly say that I have never ran into anyone that scripted. Or maybe they just used the world's shittiest scripts ever. idk. I have run into WAY too many bots recently, though. They were running rampant in beginner and intermediate matches less that a week ago.

I have yet to see an obvious scripter in a single one of my games. You may think that people are scripting but have you ever considered that maybe they are just really good? If a person gets hit be even a single skill shot in a game (unless it is actually impossible to dodge like coming from fog of war) they are not a scripter. Scripts cause a player to use the least effort possible to dodge every skill shot. They will always be right on the edge of a skill shot but never get hit. Players typically over dodge and even the best players will get hit by them on occasion.

I ran into a auto condemning Vayne just last week. It was really funny as it was Aram and I was singe. Ever single time I flipped someone anywhere near her it was a auto condemn....... She literally saved the enemy team from like 14 deaths.

It was such a obvious auto condemn script that I intentionally flipped people towards her so my friends and I could laugh about it.

you can tell its a script very easily, they do a fish hook move about 50% of the time they dodge, the problems lies with that movement a mouse can't do it without making the character spin 180 degrees 3 to 4 times...lol...the script will do it perfectly. You'll also see auto shots fly sideways off their toons. The scripts take months to set up and learn. You have to relearn to play a different way and style with them. They are also very widely used and well known about, people who come here to deny their existence in X games or X amount of time use them. Yes Riot took one company down but there are dozens more and they are cheaper now at about 7-9$ American a month. I know tons of people who use them. Most of which are Europeans playing off vpn's on the NA servers some are Asian (mostly Korean). Their excuse is "why not if I can", and basically tough shit for anyone who isn't. They lose an account about once every 4-6 months, even with rampant reports it seems to take riot a while.

I tend to see more of them in custom games or the events when they are out, but they are still rampant in ranked and normal as well. Go play on the Korean servers where about 90% of them use scripts. I always tell people when they say really stupid stuff about obvious shit, "do you go around eating dogshit just to make sure its dogshit so you don't step in it?". Case and point.
