The mysterious beings Nasus mentioned in the lore...

So whether or not you like the new lore, lets discuss (this quote was taken from the Shurima mini site btw).

So, ill list the most Obvious answer: The Void. Other posibilities include the Watchers,* Shadow Isles creatures*, *Aliens *and Beliebers.

We know from the old lore (and of course, this might be changed too), that the main portal to the Void is in Icathia, which is sudgested it be somewhere in the Shurima Dessert, or very much near it. Thus, the posibility that Nasus and Renekton acended to fight a possible Void invasion is very likely. Personally, i DOUBT Riot will reveal ANYTHING regading who these Mysterious Beings are in the upcoming Lore. Probably for some future event.

The other posibility is the Watchers. Take into consideration that the Freljord lore changes where made around the time that Riot finally decided to "ctrl+alt+delete" the League of Legends from the picture, so they are tied.

This means the Watchers existed and where active around the time Shurima was still around, Both the Iceborn and Shurima seek to conquer the world. The Watchers wanted everything under their control and Shuriman society, at least while under Azir's rule, seems to want to expand.

I do hope riot makes a mention or hint at this.
