Confessions of a Player with "Negative Attitude" Issues

I'm sorry I just need to vent right now. I'm a little sick and tired of people I meet that throw games before I can even do anything as the Jungler or Mid and then flame me when I tell them you can't beat an Udyr that's 5-0 and level 16 with 200+ farm when we're all 13 and/or under. And then, I get reported for "Negative Attitude". Really? You want to report me for something you caused? Alright, here are my top 4 reasons why I have the "glass is half-empty" mentality in League (which often leads to people reporting me).

  1. Finger-Pointing the Jungler When I'm jungling I make it a point to get at least level 4 before I can gank a lane. If you somehow die in bot lane as the AD carry or Top, it's not a good idea to flame the jungler for "not ganking" when he's still clearing out the second buff. I can't just drop everything I'm doing at half health and risk my life to save someone who's likely already dead to just feed the enemy an extra kill.

  2. Watching some idiot make a stupid engage and die only for him to flame at his team for "not engaging". I swear this one makes me blow a gasket. If you're playing a support with good engage like Alistar and Leona and then you suddenly decide to dive into a 3v4 fight when your team's ad carry is not around, you can be pretty sure that's the reason why the rest of your team isn't making the same stupid play as you. The fact that you flame your team afterwards calling them "r%%%%%s" and "noobs" makes it so blatantly obvious you're an arrogant tool who thinks he's LCS material.

  3. Blaming the guy with the least kills for feeding and why you lost the match. If you lose a match and get frustrated you're probably going to want a punching bag. That's fine and all, but don't be that asshole who flames at the 1-6 teammate who did fine in lane but went negative thanks to being constantly tower-dove by multiple enemies when no one else came to defend him.

  4. Saying "We got this, guys!" when our team hasn't taken a single objective and has lost almost all the towers outside our base. Really? You think you can rally a team who have clearly lost their motivation to play because they got shut down far too quickly? Your positivism in the face of defeat is guaranteed to make someone hate you. Don't act like someone with a bad attitude is responsible for every issue your team had because that's just making a scapegoat like the Nazis did to the Jewish communities of Germany back in the day.

Go ahead, tear my post apart. I don't care.

List is fine. I don't know how I feel about #4, though. What's wrong with trying to rally them? Surprise comebacks happen all the time. I try to say positive things to my team whether we're winning or losing.

If you don't care then why rant?

I definitely agree with 1 and 3. It's always the junglers fault. doesn't matter if I'm all the way across the map, say covering top Lane when bot dies to a gank, it's somehow my fault that they didn't ward and that I wasn't there to counter. And as an adc main, to get blamed when the enemy top/mid/jg kills me 3 times in a row with tower dives because they've been fed by everyone but my Lane... This hasn't happened to me in months but when it did I was furious.

Really wish I could see if reporting someone ever accomplishes anything.
