Yeah, despite the fact that so many lanes are decided at Champ select screen, that just brings strategy. If lose the champ select battle, play safe. I can't go play Fiddles top into Riven, better buff Fiddles now? No.

Like I said, sounds like bs.

Sometimes I feel like Riot isn't really sure what makes Sona do well in lane when she does, so they're just fucking with her numbers till her win rates drop. Honestly if they keep at this, I wonder if I'll have to find a new main.

Seeing all this is kind of amusing at the same time because it's either, "OMG NURF FREELO SUPPORT OP" from the opponents side if I win lane, or "UNSKILLED SCRUB SUPPORT PICK GTFO UNINSTALL". from my own team if I get countered.

Lol, I don't main Sona, but I have played her. Even if we stomped the other lane, I have never been called an OP support playing Sona. That says a bunch to me. Yet, when I pick her, better believe my team is all "dude..why you pick Sona when most other supports outplay her at everything".

The problem is that Sona is one of those binary champs, much like Xin. She either has the numbers to win or she doesn't; there's no potential to outplay her except by killing her before she can push buttons, since the only thing she needs to aim is her ult.

And that's why she keeps getting nerfed.

Either her Q+powerchord is too strong of a poke, or it's just right, in which case, her Q alone is too weak. And since neither can be dodged if you get in range, they cannot be left strong. Similarly for the rest of her kit, save her ult (which Riot has said they didn't like, though they may have changed their mind on that).

Dunno why they would nerf her movespeed, though, seeing that her speed boost is and always has been crap.
