Why not keep a featured game mode till your ready to release to the next one?

Honestly. :/ Why must we go months up on months with no featured game modes? Why not have one there everyday?

Because they're worried people would play that mode and not classic. Personally, they could lower the IP gains from that mode, but have it's own unique first win bonus that's a little higher than the default one.

I agree, but I think I would, along with many, play some of those game types even if you got no IP gain.

It's because that even with a mode lasting 3 weeks or so, activity in that mode falls off hard after the first week or so. People play it to have fun with something different, but the novelty of every FGM they've had so far has worn off very quickly and participation will sharply drop. Having a FGM stay around until the next one is out would only force them to keep that mode up for an ever-decreasing pool of players. And the break between FGMs creates more excitement around the time that the next one comes out.

I do wish they would rotate them more, especially as the pool of them gets bigger. Maybe not have one up all the time but like 1 week a month or w/e would be cool.

Like others mentioned participation drops off very quickly. It takes a certain number of players queuing to give reasonable queue times and any kind of matchmaking. So service actually declines as participation does. You will end up with long queues to get into a games that will very likely be miserable because its going to have people of all ranks in them.
