Why I think it's considered Low elo at first?
So umm, which is Gold referred to as? High or Low?

I'd say it's relatively high up there in comparison to the average.
Doesn't mean that Gold is that good though; just better than the average player (which would be around Silver 4).

Angry Monster1 votesI would not call it low or high. Though the terms low and high are all perspective. Gold is differently where you are better than average at the game. Gold tends is top 30 % of the ranked player base.
So i would say it is higher elo but not high. With that in mind i can not vote.

If you are higher than Gold, then you likely view it as low elo.
If you are below gold, then you likely view it as high elo.
Either way, if you are Gold 4 or above, you are in the top 22% of players. It doesn't mean you are good, but you are significantly better than the average player.
Reaper Soraka1 votesAs Gold V I consider myself low elo. If I were Gold III to Plat-1 I'd consider myself mid. if I were D5 or higher I'd consider myself high elo.
That's how I break it down personally.
D Bag1 votesAnyone with some logic can make it to gold 5, you don't even have to be good at the game. I play ARAM all year round and still managed to get to gold 5.
