I'm very cautious of giving my mid laners blue anymore. I can't tell you how many times I give them blue, they go to mid lane and instantaneously die and give blue to the enemy laner.

Yeh....I feel like...even if my mid is 4/0/1, giving them blue is just dooming them to like, be Ahri charmed by the enemy mid tower..

I think it happens something like this: Mid's never get blue in early game anymore. They get given blue. They don't know what they should do with it. Maybe they should push lane and roam? Maybe they should all-in the enemy mid? Maybe they should try to zone the enemy mid? In fact, they don't even know what to do in life anymore. While traveling back to lane they ponder their purpose in life and the grand scheme of things. The cosmos, dark energy, string theory, God, quantum matter.... Then they gray screen because they accidentally clicked on the enemy mid tower other than their own.

LOL, that's awesome. It's quite possible though, I rarely see successful uses of blue buff unless the person is actually asking for it, then they seem to know what they want to do with it.
