Official petition to rename Daruis to Dyrus

Chicken4dinner··7 votes·760 views

I don't really follow e-sports, I don't have a favourite team and I am not a Dyrus superfan but there is one thing I do know.

Dyrus deserves this, for all the shit from the community and for what he has done for e-sports itself. He is a community icon that has evolved league and with it, grown as a player himself yet now his time is over.

Lets keep his memory fresh in our minds for the next five years every time we boot up the game. Shout out to the veterans of season one who stuck with him

Being a huge TSM fan, it is the end of a legacy in my eyes. Dyrus is the Dan Marino of LoL E-Sports imho. He wanted so much to win worlds, not for himself, but for his fans and country. People might not realize the impact he has had on LoL or E-Sports in general. People talk about his KDA, but Dyrus has said, "If 3 people are diving me for a kill. It's 3 less people my team has to worry about." He was a great team player and he will be missed. #TSM4LIFE

I talk to people about things and that teaches me new facts every day

EDIT: to clarify I have seen about 12 e-sport games not including the OPL stream

Before you start saying, "Bandwagon fanboys ftl........" Change your CLG summoner icon to the 2013 one. Else you look like a fanboi ftl.

No, this years icon is better and also the in game emote is great. So before you post some dumb ass reply rub 2 neurons together next time.

No. We are not renaming champions after pro players. Items in game, fine. Renaming champs? Never. Also, your options for voting suck.

I can see why NA is worried about their posts fading into obscurity.
