Why is my League Launcher scanning over 3000+ files for?
I just wanted to play some matches here, wtf is this?

It always says that for me. Don't worry about it.
It's scanning everything it needs to run and checks to make sure they match what the games needs to run. That includes champion stats, map graphics, voices, items etc.
Even if you just look at the voices, each spoken line is a separate file. With over 125 champions and skins with altered lines, that's probably 1000+ files right there.
