The drop rate on these is horrid!

I play at least a game or two a day with no less than one other person and usually three or four and I have zero key fragments. 3 boxes, and no way to open them. Do these things even drop?

Winning any match that isn't a custom or Co-op vs. AI will give you a chance to get a key fragment. You're not guaranteed to get one, but you do have a higher chance if you play with a premade party.

I have not received a single key fragment in about a week now. is there a limitation to the amount of keys you receive per week now? I also play with about 3 or more friends in normals and ranked yet no keys.

I have now reached 5 crates but have yet to receive a key fragment within at least 2 weeks. I have opened maybe 3 crates at most and have not received any more fragments since I've had enough to open those 3. What is going on with the drop rate???? Is it just that once you open enough crates, you just don't receive any more for a month or something???

You get key fragments just by playing matches.

Tis true, these rare . . . fragments as you call them are hard to come by Drop rates increase by playing with friends.

I only got 4 and never got any higher than 4 im thinking were locked to 4 per week

You get fed up with them not dropping in game and end up buying them in the store, just as Riot intended.
