Jungling without smite works

Smite is noob spell
Take warwick or some other good champion and go to jungle without smite and you will win!

You can also eat fast foods every day and still live but that doesn't make it a good idea.
Lowers your gold income from farming camps, makes clearing harder since you're losing out on that raw true damage on a low cooldown that doesn't require mana, gives you lower objective control even if you're Nunu or Cho'Gath, and you can't buy sweet machete upgrades that can cover your jungler's weaknesses or exemplify their strength.
You'd be better off replacing flash.

Sure, it works great. Until you want to take Dragon or Baron. Or secure your buffs. Or make reasonable gold. Or get the buffs from the camps. Okay maybe it's pretty terrible now.
Oh man I used to think the same thing back when I was starting out. 'Why would you take smite when you can take exhaust ignite?' (I also didn't see the usefulness of Flash)

To the OP: Smite is a very important thing the jungler brings to the table. Without it, your clears will be much slower, especially early on and especially with warwick. Not only that, you'll lose the added benefit of gromp's buff, vision clear with raptor's buff, and dragon and baron will be damn near impossible to do if the enemy has vision of it.

Smiteless is not valid since you need it to get the jungle item, therefore meaningful gold, and lack of Bron control unless you take Nunu/Cho. Also theres no reason not to take smite since it has 2 really good options now.
Maybe a thing on Fiddle, but again you need Cho/Nunu for control
And then you have 0 baron/dragon control.
