I'm Silver 5, and I won promos and got promoted to Silver 3
First off, yay I did it!! Hahaha although I knew it's gonna reset anyway next year. And second, how does this promotion work? I thought promoting goes in a set order, like 5-4-3-2-1?

If you're over performing in your bracket you can skip levels. Congrats!
If you are showing that you are far better than where you currently are ranked, you can skip a level.
Meanwhile me sitting with 9 provisionals done because I'm waiting for the s5 reset... 2-7 I'm so bad at League ;n;
Your MMR must've been too high so you got promoted twice. Happened to me once, Gold 5 - Gold 3.
congratulations, that happened to me from g5-g3 once... it means your mmr was high enough that the game felt that was where you belonged, so when you won your promo it skipped you. Good job :)
