How to stop losing more LP than I win?
I am constantly at about 55% win, yet I still win 2 games, and lose both games worth in 1 game. Really frustrating. I could see if I was always at

Depends on your MMR and opponent's MMR. i got demoted from gold 5 to silver 1 meaning i play vs lower silvers now than i did before. The bigger the difference in rank the more LP you lose. I win 13 lp for a win and lose 23+ lp for a loss. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo that's my understanding
I dont think he understands LP at all seeing how he thinks you get more for first win or is just thinking you made a mistake typing IP but even then it doesnt take a genius to figure out what this topic is about. Also yes ranked is bull but its bull that we have little control over.

If your rank is high but your MMR is low, you will experience big losses and small gains.
LP gains and losses will correlate with your opponents MMR, but this is because matchmaking matches based on your MMR and not your rank.
The way to raise your MMR is to win more games than you lose. Once your MMR is above your rank, you will start gaining more LP than you lose.

edit: I think it's easier to lose MMR than it is to gain it, so you need more than a 55% win rate to climb easily. I'm not entirely sure how MMR works, and I don't know anyone who does.
Jakiron is completely correct. if you are losing 30 lp for a loss and only getting 12 lp for a win then it means the system is trying to balance out your skill level with the rank you are in. it means that chances are your MMR is lower than the average MMR for gold 5 the only way to fix that is to keep winning. if you stay at the 55% win percentage then your MMR will slowly rise. Don't lose hope you can get there!

Well duo queing with someone lower than you even if youre winning will drag your mmr through the dirt thats why i asked
