I'm a blade of grass in real life, and the entire rift is covered with grass. I feel incredibly honored.

I guess I should really work on my ideas of expectation vs reality :(

even tho you're a blade of grass (it was a crazy night)

Jax jaximus skin: occasional joke of "here's to you kid" in honor of a make-a-wish foundation child.

item 1075 item 1056 item 1054 Dorans set, iirc, references an original game designer for league that left the team early/before release.

(Apparently dedicating an item after someone after they left is offensive to some of her fans, idk)

item 3143 named after Robin 'Randuin' Liao. Who left at the same time as Shurelia

item 3116 Rylai is also the name of an ice-based hero on the original DotA, which League is a successor of.

http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130110021724/leagueoflegends/images/7/71/Priscilla%27s_Blessing_item.png Priscillia's Blessing, old removed item. Named after a WIP champion of the same name, who eventually turned into Elise.

During one April Fools day, (2012 I believe) item 3077 was changed to "Tamat" for the Rioter of the same name.

There are more, but these are the lesser known ones.

item 3165 . Totally not named after Morello. Tryndamere . Totally not named after the CEO. Ezreal . Totally not named after one of the Game Developers.

Edit: Ok, I got some wrong, but at least people are filling in the gaps :)

KüramaJan 30, 20151 votes

Tryndamere is the President. Ryze Is the CEO.

I always figured they named their summoner names after the items/champs, not the other way around

and I must say, I may or may not have held a slight grudge against tryndamere when I found out he had that name. was gonna try to make that my summoner name about 4-5 months after I started lol. but that's ok, cuz now I just think hes awesome for having that name
