Losing MMR From Wins!?
For each consecutive win in ranked, I've been gaining 1 less LP. Why is my MMR decreasing when I win ranked games?

It is, but once you reach a certain point, they want to slow down the climb so that you will not end up higher than you belong from a single winning streak. The idea is sound, just made very little sense when it was still being implemented on people gold and below.
Clamping has been a part of ranked climbing in league for a long time, but they changed clamping relatively recently (within the last 2 seasons at some point) so it only applies to people above Platinum. Basically, it will get harder to climb the higher you go, so you will not get a lucky winning streak and suddenly be challenger.
Used to be even better, would be at 90 points gold 1, and it would take you 13 wins to get to plat
