Reminder: Riot's intentions are GOOD!

Yoyo

They aren't pondering the termination of a Solo Queue to spite all of you Dynamic Queue haters, like come on. There are reasons for that...

This also applies to almost everything else that people seem to be personally offended by, like the Hextech crafting system and the general game balance.

Just be grateful that Riot is as involved with their community as they are, and that they honestly care about what we have to say.

While their intentions may be good, their decision making is absolutely abysmal. There's obviously some huge issues on their management side and while they put out some great content they need to fire some of the people making these horrible decisions.

The main reason Riot is pushing dynamic queue is because of the amount of work they put into it. Sure, you get put into premades "equal" to other premades. Not all premades give the same level of commitment however and generally speaking you have a 50/50 shot of getting stuck with the lesser premade in a game.

In solo queue you had individuals. Sure you had the chance of multiple people holding you back but you didn't have a group of four people making poor decisions rather than just one. It's a lot easier to carry a game when you're not stuck with people who refuse to listen to you because you're not part of their group.

The amount of tilt I've had over the past few days with this nonsense. Haven't been able to top lane properly for a few days and it's my main lane.

I'm trying to adjust to the new system, I really am. It's just really overwhelming to be forced into a group of 3-4 people and expecting a good outcome when they chase kills or cheese a comp. In solo queue you usually only had one-two trollish people. The "this role only", honestly, I found that preferable.

I also have something to say about the "friends in ranked" logic. Ranked is not something you want to do with your friends. It's a high intensity situation and it puts strain on relationships. So I'm not saying you shouldn't have fun but if you're just dicking around with your friends in ranked you shouldn't be playing ranked.

Though most of my feelings could be coming from this exceedingly stupid meta. Top that off with death timers.

Way too much changed this season and Riot just kinda shoved it down our throats. They really should have staggered the changes.

Their intentions are $$$$$$ - nothing else.

Dynamic queue is to make ranked games more fun/easy for casual groups of players despite the massive drawbacks for a small portion of the community and the fact that it further devalues their ranking system (just like the LP system does). New champions always come out unbalanced (or get buffed to that point quickly). Champs with new skins get buffs. Actually buffing or nerfing a champion to a balanced state almost never happens. It's pretty blatant that champs are either OP, or just get outright kneecapped by the balancing team. That way people need to spend money on new champions to keep up with the imbalanced ones. The whole point of hextech crafting was to A) make people spend more time grinding for them (so playing more games) and B) rake in more money from people buying chests (those who want hextech annie) and keys (those who have OCD and can't grind out 100 games a month to get 4 full keys but don't want "wasted" hextech chests sitting in their inventory doing nothing).

They stated that "there was a world in which solo Q never returned"
