Wrongful LeaverBuster Warning

i just wanna say i just got a leaverbuster warning apparently i afked in my game. except I DIDNT.

Im so mad at this warning. Like...The game was going SO HORRIBLY i wanted to leave.... But i didn't. I sucked it up and played it through. Which is a huge improvement for me as a player that used to leave months back for the same reasons.

Why should i try to be a better player and not ragequit, if im still gonna get reported for afking when i didn't??

I may as well have just left that game and done something else. Sense i got reported anyway.

SO MAD! Wrongful Warning.

Leaverbuster doesn't care about reports. It detects whether players are present by itself.

It's also only supposed to give one warning (the infamous "I agree" message), one time. So I'm not sure what you're referring to there.

leaverbuster is an interesting lil algorithm nowadays. it doesnt just detect you leaving. it also monitors your xp gain relative to your teammates. this is to prevent players to just afk in spawn and move the character around every couple minutes. i dont know if it also maps movement and locations. It certainly tracks inactivity like no movement whatsoever.

Did you maybe hang around spawn or base for a while? I mean you contemplated leaving...

Are you talking about the warning that makes you type "I agree"?

Did you DC at any point during the game or loading screen?

you know, i could go on and say: you're full of it, you deserve what you got etc...

but computers and programs are mean beasts that do random weird stuff just to throw us out of our comfort zone! don't ever think "the ghost in the machine" isn't reality. automated programs mess up all the time!

contact support, explain your issue in detail, update your request repeatedly to let them know that you are not satisfied with a copy and paste / bot answer, and once you get through to a real person who actually reads your request and can answer you with knowledge friendly and calmly state your problem and see if they can help you. I hope it can be resolved!
