Wow, I even received an AFK warning from leaving a bot game

Was just playing as usual, felt like cooling down from multiple normal games by playing a bot match instead, til my university accommodation wifi just trips for no good reason, making me unable to relog into the game. I understand if Riot prepares to suspend most AFKs or trolls, but to be mistakenly leaving a bot game to get a warning? Now this is just crazy. Kinda scared to play future match now. Who knows my wifi just trips for fun again.

If you cannot say with relative certainty that you will not be able to stay for an entire match (both from a connection and player standpoint) then you should not queue up.

That's just how games like league should work.

I got a warning for a private game once 4bots and me against 5 bots and i got a rito warning. I guess that counts too?

The only format LeaverBuster does not automatically montor is custom. It might be "just" bots, but it still counts as a match-made format, which means a leave affects up to 4 random people.

Bad luck the trigger was something outside your control, but the system looks for a pattern of leaves.

If you've had issues with the wifi before, you might want to consider picking up an ethernet cable and see if you get a more stable connection.

Bot games exist to get people familiar with the games mechanics and get ready for real games. Allowing people to afk in a bot game would be positively reinforcing habits that riot has no reason to permit in their game.

Basically if you leave games consistently then riot doesn't want you anywhere near their product.

Remember that a warning is just that, a warning. It's telling you 'if you don't stop this right now, you're gone.' Having it warn you for leaving a bot game is a GOOD thing. It's letting you know that won't be tolerated in league.

Was is a notice before leaving the solo custom game? If so, all it is is a notice and it won't push you towards a leaver ban. I suspect it was easier to code it to appear for everything than to make an exception. I've seen it leaving Spectator mode, too.

This rule is a must have in the game! I certainly would not want to play with people that ragequit and such.

But why apply it when playing with coop vs ai? Who was annoyed that i left mid game? My team mates? Did i leave them in a 5v4? No! Perhaps the bots because one of them was forced to stay back? No! ...

So ok, I have to wait 20 minutes now to get back into another BOT game... then if i hear the bang i have a few seconds to click accept. If i do... yey! ... 4/3/2/1 more times of this 20 minute nonsense and i'm back to normal queue. If I don't give the this my full attention then 20 minutes starts again, and again and AGAIN! And let's say that in one of these bot games i have to dc again. Then the 5x20 minute and eventually more, silliness begins anew - 5 more times in the lower queue... what is this? Is this game supposed to be fun this way?

You know what? I changed my mind! This is a good thing. Because in the 20 minutes that i spent waiting to get in a coop vs ai game i usually get a bit self conscious and realized that i don't want to play this game that much. This has been going on for weeks now.
