3 tokens 300 k mastery...but cant get rank 7 yasuo becasue blue essence(& rng)??

seriously why Riot (or I guess I should say Tencent)
also why do i think it is a money grab?

you have to have blue essence you get those from champ shards(or a champ specific shard which is 1 in 130 chance of getting, assuming you get past the 1/3 chance of even getting a champ shard)

you cant use orange or blue you have to use only blue so it cuts down the possibility of getting essence from chests to a 1/3 making it way harder to the rank without buying

because you have to use essence in general... it means that you have to play other champions to get a rank on a different champion which simply makes no sense... however it makes sense for a money grab

getting the necessary chest to get the shards to get the essence is obnoxiously hard... if your getting a rank 7( its probably on your main ) so you cant play your main to get the chests because you will have one on them already so you have to play your lower skill champs to get the chests then you will get a champ shard in every 1 of every 3 boxes (statistically) and you will need a few shards for all the blue you need... so taking all that in getting the essence through game play is kind of just stupid
