Dank maymay's advice is good but there are exceptions. Like when you are playing support. Or Singed. Or a utility jungler. I would focus more on your creep score as that pertains to every role that isn't a support. And if you are a support you judge your ability on how many wards you place per game, how many assists you get and more importantly how many times your ADC died (ideally this is zero).
